About a month ago, I downloaded the TED app for my iPad. I love what TED does and stands for, but for some reason I never used it until earlier this week. I finally fired up the app, and found a couple of really good talks, but I think this was my favorite.
The talk was by Jessica Jackley, and I appreciated the project she has created (Kiva.org that is a microfinance website – connecting people in the developed world with entrepreneurs in the 3rd world). But what I really found interesting is her passion and how she had a story to tell.
We all lead someone in some capacity. Most likely you have a small business with an employee or two (even if it’s your spouse). You have to lead. Lead with passion. Have a story to tell. Passion and story make it easy for people to follow. I watched Jessica’s presentation, and I was ready to sign up. I got it.
Take a look.
