I have to admit that I don’t see it. I’ve recently had a number of different people tell me how much I look like Jimmy Fallon. Again, I don’t see it, but in these types of cases usually you are the last to see it. I like Jimmy Fallon a lot. I think he’s really funny, and I love his show when I stay up to watch it.
Obviously, Jimmy Fallon himself, Rolling Stone magazine or some publicist somewhere sees what everyone is talking about. Honestly I’m not quite sure how to take it. I should be flattered (he is arguably a bigger deal that I am – though the margin is minimal based mainly on the circles your run in), but I’m a little irritated.
I imagine you don’t know what I’m talking about. Well, first, let me show you an image that Animoto and I collaborated on about a year ago –
Cool, huh. It was a ton of fun to do, and it ended up (not this image, but a different one) running in their marketing campaign in Rangefinder and Professional Photography. I guess Jimmy thought it looked like a good idea too –
One thing I’ll say, is Jimmy and I obviously have the same workout regiment keeping our bodies in flawless shape.
Here’s an interview with Fallon after/during the shoot for Rolling Stones.
I have to say, writing has been cathartic. I feel much better about the whole situation. In fact, if Jimmy were to ask me to come on the show, I might even consider.
